Positions Available

Software Solutions Consultant - UK Sales

Products:
Matrix Gemini LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
Stability Express – for shelf life management in pharmaceuticals and food
Matrix Tracker – for tracking samples, audits etc.
Matrix Compliance Management System including Feedback for customer complaint management and Competency Tracker
Key responsibilities:
a) Coverage of a sales territory in the UK.
b) Handling of international opportunities as and when needed.
c) Follow up on existing opportunities.
d) Develop both known accounts and new accounts by cold calling via the telephone and where applicable, use of our in-house telemarketing facilities.
e) Demonstrate the Autoscribe software solutions at an initial level and then work with the technical specialist in the sales department to create demo systems tailored to specific customer requirements.
f) Close the business with help of management where needed.
g) Attend exhibitions and conferences.
h) Contribute to ideas for marketing campaigns.
i) Contribute to ideas for new products.
j) Meet agreed order targets.
k) Contribute pro-actively to the above and any other sales related topics.
Other points:
a) The position is based on our Riseley office (5 miles south of Reading) – ideally the candidate should live within commuting distance.
b) Experience in the scientific laboratory environment is preferred.
c) Base salary, car allowance and commission scheme will be offered
 

LIMS Implementation Specialist

The key tasks of the Technical Specialist include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
1) Implementation and configuration of the Autoscribe developed software. This includes the use of reporting tools to design the customer specific reports. Extension to other products as needed e.g. LIMSLink for instrument connections.
2) Project management of system implementations to meet customer expectations including customer visits.
3) Maintaining project documentation and records of time spent on all customer related projects.
4) Provision of training courses and seminars on an as needed basis.
5) Assistance with testing of Autoscribe developed software as needed.
6) Attendance at technical seminars, exhibitions and user meetings as required.
7) Visits to distributor companies for the purposes of training and assistance with technical seminars as required.
8) Support for Autoscribe customers via email, telephone and site visits where necessary.
9) Other related tasks on an as needed basis.

The position will report to the Technical Director or designated alternate.
