The Matrix Gemini LIMS supplied with this scheme will be configured for your laboratory to include functions such as sample registration, sample receipt, manual test result entry, validation of test results and approval of work. The system will allow the querying of sample status, the entry of test times and/or prices and a reporting function with a starter set of reports.

In addition the system will be suitable for registering a job of work which may involve multiple samples either supplied at the start of the job or supplied at regular intervals over an unlimited time period. Each sample within a job will be individually numbered. The security system supplied with Matrix Gemini LIMS is comprehensive and audit trailing is a standard feature.

Commercial Terms  
  
The Matrix Gemini LIMS system is capable of monitoring the workload that it handles. It is therefore a simple task to produce a report giving, for example, the total number of samples registered and the number of tests of each type performed all within a selected time window.
 
The supply of Pay As You Go Matrix Gemini LIMS software and implementation services (5 days) will not be chargeable items but the use of Matrix Gemini LIMS will be charged at an agreed rate per sample (or test) registered. The system usage will be invoiced monthly in arrears.
 
Support for the system will be provided at no cost including any upgrades that may be made available.
 
The initial contract will be for a period of 12 months, renewable annually thereafter.
 
Benefits    

The supply of Matrix Gemini LIMS is a true business partnership between Autoscribe Limited and the contract laboratory. The faster the system goes live the sooner Autoscribe Limited can start invoicing for sample throughput. Both parties have significant interest in fast implementation.
 
Financing the system in this way allows the implementation of a leading LIMS with little or no impact on your business cash flow. Compared to other forms of finance it improves the cash flow of your business.
 
As the system is paid for based on sample throughput the cost can be easily included in the chargeable cost of sample analysis by the contract laboratory.
 
The installed system is supported at no extra cost and upgrades are supplied free of charge within the contract again contributing positively towards the cash flow situation.
 
The return on investment cannot be bettered, particularly as the system will provide an enhanced means of dealing with work from clients together with improved report designs.
 
Subscribers to this scheme will be encouraged to input ideas for system improvement which is another example of a business partnership.
 
A joint publicity program will be part of the contract designed to benefit both parties.
 
 
What extras are there?
    
Hardware and networks have to be in place according to the requirements of Matrix Gemini LIMS.
 
Travel to site and accommodation where necessary will be charged extra.
 
Additional system configuration work or the development of extra reports will be a cost item.
